Vulko is a politician and royal scholar of Atlantis, acting as mentor to Aquaman. He is a member of the Aquaman Family. Providing sage wisdom and advice in times of crisis, he is the city's oldest dignitary. Vulko was created by Bob Haney and Sal Trapani, first appearing in Brave and the Bold #73. (1967) Nick Cardy redesigned his appearance later that year in Aquaman #35.
