Synopsis for "Demon On My Trail"

When Teddy "The Gentleman Killer" Chandler is freed from his chain-gang by his faithful slave Orion, he manages to kill a number of law enforcement officers in doing so. As he is escaping the law, Chandler takes a specific route and poisons all the watering holes they encounter.

Jonah Hex learns of the escape and begins tracking down the two escapees. When Hex initially finds them, he wounds Chander and takes both men hostage. However, Chandler turns things around when Hex comes across a wagon that had been attacked by Indians and the sole survivor being a young boy. Chandler takes Hex's guns and leaves him to die in the sun, however Orion gives them a flask unknown to his master.

While, Hex turns the boy over to a farm family who takes them in and buys new weapons he continues on his trail on Chandler and Orion. Meanwhile, Chandler finds that they are out of water, and so to conserve he kills Orion. Hex begins to tracking Chandler down. With no water, Chandler becomes desperate and comes across a drinking pool. However he realizes too late that it was one of the watering holes that he poisoned earlier, and soon dies from the poison.
