White Lotus began as a coalition of grocers who banded together to violently depose the corrupt governor of their province in China.
History
In the fifty years that followed, the organization blossomed into an infamous criminal enterprise.[1] Headquartered in Manhattan's Chinatown while still retaining strong ties to the old country, White Lotus was led by the Grocer until he was assassinated by the self-proclaimed Nkauj Ntxuam, Hmong warrior princess of legend.[2] Leadership of White Lotus then passed to the Grocer's heir, Kiâu Jiao-Long, who was duty-bound to avenge his father's murder.[3]
