Synopsis for Ibis the Invincible: "The Day the Sorcerers Rule"
The evil Karnak is having his slaves dig up the Egyptian desert for the hiding place of an ancient book of black magic. Just as they find it, Ibis and Taia show up, having been keeping an eye on Karnak so they could destroy the book as soon as he found it. Ibis binds the slaves in chains and finishes off a whining Karnak with his fists. Before he burns the book, however, Karnak seizes the Ibistick and uses it to proliferate the contents of the book everywhere. Spells of black magic appear everywhere words are printed: ordinary books, newspapers, radio announcements. This leads to the surprised readers summoning all manner of infernal horrors that Ibis rushes back and forth to contain the chaos. Eventually he transports himself to Karnak's new hideout, uses magic to splatter Karnak with his own cauldron of boiling oil, then teleports the agonized villain to a prison hospital to have his burn wounds treated before using the Ibistick to return all printed literature to normal.
