Synopsis for "New Grifter's Night Out"

Cole, Dolby, and along with the Beef Boys commence the retrieval op while the former oversee the operation from behind the scenes while directing Dolby through his earpiece.

Eight days ago. Dolby is seemingly reluctant to go along with the operation as he shares his concerns to Jack Marlowe that he is uncomfortable in killing people. Marlowe gives some assuring words to Dolby, and pointing out into not reconsidering quitting Halo as he needs him for sorting out a meeting with the Belljar stockholders for next month.

Four days ago. Dolby arrange a meeting with former supervillain-turned arms dealer "Sleeper Hold" to buying a tranquilizer pistol, a non-lethal weapon that instantly knocks out a person, which would overcome Dolby's killing problem.

In the present, Dolby and the Beef Boys infiltrate an underground facility under Philadelphia where C.C.'s Rendozzo's son Donovan ("Donny") is living there. Dolby is lower into the facility through a elevator shaft by the Beef Boys. After some difficulty, Dolby finds Donny and tranquilize him. The Beef Boys finds them and volunteer in carrying Donny while Dolby separates from them to act as a diversion. However, Dolby wounds up in front of Fagin Tyro and engage in a struggle. Dolby, having used up his tranquilizer pistol, inadvertently use a handgun in shooting Tyro in the head, apparently killing him. Dolby stands in total shock of what he had done and is teleported away by Marlowe into his office before being almost shot by the facility's personnel.

Marlowe apologizes to Dolby for what he is brought into, but Dolby immediately tells "I quit."
