History

William Dawson was a criminal whose body was taken over by Gorilla Grodd. After being released from prison, Grodd returned to Gorilla City, where Dawson's body devolved into a gorilla. ^[1]

• Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985-86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact.
