History

Bill Walsh and Slade Wilson trained together at Camp Washington, where the two men quickly became rivals. Bill was jealous of Slade's abilities, and thought that Slade was rubbing his nose in his failures. He also believed he had a chance to have a relationship with Adeline Kane until Slade showed up. Eventually, Bill Walsh washed out of the program, blaming Slade for his own shortcomings.

Walsh eventually became the terrorist known as the Jackal. The president from Qurac sent the Jackal to find Slade, and find out who hired him to kill the Colonel. To gain leverage, the Jackal kidnapped a young Joseph Wilson.

This forced Slade to admit to his wife that he was secretly the mercenary known as Deathstroke, the Terminator. Adeline and Slade (outfitted as Deathstroke) together confronted the Jackal. Slade refused to give the Jackal the information he requested, because it would violate his professional code of ethics. Slade gambled he could react fast enough to save his son; He saved Joseph's life, but not before one of Jackal's men had begun to slit his throat. Joseph was now mute.

Years later, Bill Walsh took advantage of Grant Wilson's hate for the Teen Titans. He was the H.I.V.E. agent that recruited Grant to take part in the experiment that cost him his life.

Walsh later took up the identity of the Ravager to lure Deathstroke into conflict with him. Deathstroke tracked him down and the two battled, as Ravager revealed his identity to Deathstroke. Walsh intended to detonate a bomb which would kill the both of them. Slade bested Ravager in battle and plunged a sword into his chest, killing him. Slade was also able to defuse the bomb.
