After being exposed to a near lethal dose of Joker Venom, it was only due to the amount of other drugs in his system that he survived his exposure, Winslow Heath's visage was permanently changed into one similar to that of the Joker. However, the amount of drugs in his system resulted in Heath being stuck in a coma. Now awakened some years after the original incident, Heath seeks to get back at Batman for his inability to put the Joker away for good.
