Synopsis for "Those Whom Satan Hath Joined"

An old man plans to marry a golddigger but dies just before the wedding. The woman is frustrated that now she won't get the man's money, but a witch that she has made a bargain with has Satan marry her to the corpse. The witch's bargain is that she gets the money when the woman dies, so the witch kills her and dumps her body into the casket with the old man's.

Synopsis for "Dead Duck"

A burglar attempts a robbery in a village that is so isolated they still punish criminals in ways that were fashionable 300 years ago. He is sentenced to the dunking stool and finds a sharp rock on the bottom as he is submerged. He cuts through the ropes and escapes the villagers, but not until after nicking himself which alerts a hungry shark to his presence.

Synopsis for "Food for Fear"

Two con men plot to extort a rich man by doping his food with drugs that will produce temporary hallucinations. The rich man begins to see a horribly distorted face in the mirror even though his face actually looks the same. One of the con men presents himself as a doctor and tells him that he can cure him of the condition. Since the rich man's food is no longer drugged, eventually he sees his old face back in the mirror and tells the con man that he doesn't want him to leave so that he can share in his wealth for curing him. The con man feels that he is a prisoner in the house and attempts to find a way out but runs afoul of the electrical burglar alarm system. The rich man tells the con man that he must have caught the disease from him, since the con man hasn't looked in the mirror yet, the con man's face has been horribly burned by the electrical discharge.
