Synopsis for "Fragments"

Diana, now filing the position of the Godless of truth, tells a story from her childhood, when she asked a favour from sorceress-amazon Magala. As a young girl, Diana didn't have anyone her age to play with, so Magala cast a spell to bring Diana's reflection to life. This girl was not only the spitting image of Diana but possessed her memories as well. For six months, the two girls were happy, spending time together in secret. Everything changed when Dark Angel appeared on Themiscyra to kidnap Diana but took her doppelgänger instead. At the same time, Hippolyta sensed something terrible threatening her daughter but found her in her room unharmed. Later, Magala informed Diana that her playmate had disappeared and this is why Hippolyta felt Diana was in danger. The Princess asks Magala to repeat the spell but the sorceress refuses and explains that the mirror-girl had a fragment of Diana's soul and splitting it again would be too dangerous.

In the present day, Hippolyta (Wonder Woman), Jay Garrick, Joan Garrick and Wally West head to Themiscyra to find out why Dark Angel thinks Donna Troy is Hippolyta's daughter. Magala tells them about the spell as soon as they arrive.

Meanwhile, in Hell, Donna is about to be hurled down another miserable life-path by Dark Angel but she is stopped by the sudden arrival of a group of heroes and villains. Cassandra and Helena Sandsmark, Artemis, Merlin, Michael Schorr, Herry Matthews are searching for Jason Blood and fighting the villain Morgain le Fay. She appears, along with Etrigan who is under her spell and an aged version of Merlin form later in mage's personal timeline who is mad. Etrigan and Dark Angel start fighting, then Hippolyta appears and engages Dark Angel in combat. Etrigan attempts to kidnap the Sandsmarks but Wally and Jay stop him. Michael and Artemis formulate a plan.

Back on Oympus, Diana watches all this unfold through the enchanted pool. Harold Champion reminds her that she is forbidden from communicating with mortals. She mysteriously responds by saying that she isn't communicating, she's merely providing inspiration.

In hell, Donna remembers her past lives and reminisces about them. She realizes that her connection to Dark Angel gives her the power to kill Dark Angel. She grabs Dark Angel and begins to kill her.

Michael tries to stop Artemis form carrying out her plan and reminds her that she is mortal. He grabs her, she knocks him out and goes on to face Morgaine. She wraps her shirt around her sword and ignites it with hellfire. With her strength and the magic of the hellfire, she defeats Morgaine seemingly killing her. Merlin grabs the aged Merlin and forces them off the edge of a cliff into a pool of hellfire, seeming sacrificing his life to defeat his older self. Etrigan is freed from Morgaine’s spell and once again merges with Jason Blood, with Blood surfacing.

Hippolyta reveals that Donna managed to kill Dark Angel but she paid the price of her consciousness seemingly being erased and all that seems to be left of her is her body.
