Synopsis for "A Sudden Deadly Leap"

Wonder Woman is approached while she's getting her hair done by Mercedes Foster who informs her Thomas Asquith Randolph needs to see her. When she arrives she's told a cosmonaut's mission has gone haywire and the woman has less than hours of breathable air, and all the known heroes who can operate with ease in the vacuum of space are currently busy and unreachable on such short notice. She volunteers for the rescue in light of this and Randolph's assurance he has a transport she can use, though him possessing a custom spacesuit for her raises her suspicions.

Her earlier suspicions prove correct when the sabotaged space sled sends both her and the woman she was sent to rescue careening uncontrolled into space, but Diana comes up with a wild plan to find help; salvage parts of the sled to move faster and hope to be seen and rescued by one of the many space faring peoples of the DCU.
