One year after the events of Infinite Crisis, the mantle of Wonder Woman has been passed to Donna Troy. Three villains: Giganta, Dr. Psycho, and Cheetah hold Steve Trevor hostage at a museum. They want the real Wonder Woman to return. After a battle with Donna Troy, the three villains kidnap the new Wonder Woman. It is revealed Nemesis was masquerading as Steve Trevor and that both Nemesis and the new agent Diana Prince (the real Wonder Woman in disguise), will be searching for the missing Donna Troy.
