Synopsis for "The Dark Gods, Part Three"

In the skies of Washington D.C.

The Zamarons have abruptly abducted Wonder Woman, leaving Jason to face the Dark Gods alone. Jason is aware he's out of his depth but he also knows he has to fight. He flies towards the four monoliths as summoning the power of Athena's wisdom bestowed by his armor, and he knows their names and powers. Three gods burst out of their monoliths: the Mob God and the God With No Name drive people crazy as Savage Fire, the Goddess of War, attacks Jason. Jason has a hard time trying to protect maddened people and at the same time fending Savage Fire's relentless assault off. Savage Fire smashes him down into a car and is about to resume their attack when Supergirl swoops in and knocks Savage Fire away with a double punch. Savage Fire and her two partners vanish.

Supergirl gets dizzy and floats down, weakened by Savage Fire's magic aura. Jason catches her and Kara explains those gods manipulated her into fighting Wonder Woman. Jason can't even imagine what a battle between the world's mightiest heroines would be like. Then he warns the last monolith, King Best, is standing still and waiting. Supergirl expresses her surprise on discovering Wonder Woman has a brother, and Jason admits he's new and severely inexperienced. Steve Trevor breaks in to warn three of the dark gods have appeared in different parts of the world, sowing madness. So he's called the Justice League in. Jason explains there's four dark gods on Earth (and possibly his sister was summoned by the Star Sapphires to help them deal with a fifth one), and their leader King Best hasn't emerged from his monolith yet. He's waiting, but Jason doesn't know for what.

The Leaguers decide to take a look. As they approach, Supergirl points out that monolith is remarkably similar to the Promethean Giants stuck to the Source Wall. All of sudden, Jason knows what King Best was waiting for: enough power to animate its body. King Best absorbs the combined might of the Justice League and makes them disappear. Then he swats Jason away and starts rampaging through Washington, D.C. Army choppers try to stop him or at least slow him down, and they're promptly destroyed.

Encouraged by Steve, Jason stands back up again and braces himself for another battle. King Best spots him and shoots his eyebeams. Still Wonder Woman shows up all of sudden and shields her brother. Jason is overjoyed. He doesn't know how to handle this situation. Diana says they'll fight those dark gods together.
