After the end of World War II, Wooloo Island was an American protectorate, in the remote Pacific Ocean.

History

The native populace were preyed upon by "Iron Giants," who lived upon the island's central volcanic mountain. Word of their plight reached Wonder Woman at U.S. Intelligence Headquarters, and she flew to Wooloo Island and intervened. The Iron Giants turned out to be ordinary thugs, on stilts, encased in tremendous suits of plate armor, and the king of the giants turned out to be Doctor Psycho's geologist brother, King Ironsides.
