Synopsis for Superman and Batman: "Secret of the Time Creature"

Off the Mediterranean Sea, a strange creature made entirely of energy appears and begins terrorizing a small farming community prompting them to call out to Superman for help. When word gets to the Daily Planet in Metropolis, Clark Kent rushes off to change into Superman and try to stop the creature. Simultaneously Batman and Robin hear of the creature and head to the island being terrorized to lend a hand. However, no matter how hard the Man of Steel tries, he cannot stop the creature.

As Superman struggles with the creature, Batman and Robin hear a strange whistling noise from a nearby cave. Inside they find a strange alien device that links with them telepathically and tells them the origins of the creature: centuries ago, an astronomer on an alien world witnessed a strange fire ball explosion in space. After tracking down a fragment of the explosion on their world, the aliens discovered one such creature as was plaguing Earth in the present. The alien planet's advanced society built a device that would contain the creature. After ridding the galaxy of all the creatures, they buried the weapon in a cave on Earth near where the last fragment of the space explosion landed, and left with it a telepathic recording to warn the people of Earth how to stop the creature.

With the location of the device imparted to them, Batman and Robin go to it's location but find that it was removed from it's container centuries ago. Knowing that the aliens buried the device during the time when Alexander the Great took power in Greece, Batman and Robin seek out their friend Professor Carter Nichols to send them back in time. Having improved his time machine, Nichols gives them a device that will allow them to return to the present whenever they wish.

Batman and Robin travel back in time to Ancient Greece and find that in this time the device was taken and figure that it must be in a nearby city. They enter into the city and save a man from being trampled by a chariot. When they ask him if he's seen the object he tells them it was sold to a merchant who took it to Egypt. When they try to get a ride on a sailing ship there, they are taken prisoner and forced to serve as oarsmen to get the boat to Egypt. However, the Dynamic Duo break free and stop a Pharaoh from taking the device apart and flee into the desert, but the Pharaoh's army follows after them.

While in the present, Superman manages to temporarily contain the creature when he is told by the military that Professor Nichols is seeking him out. Speeding there he learns that Batman and Robin's are unable to return to the present because the device to bring them back to the present has been damaged. Superman flies into the past to rescue them, fixes the damaged device, and they all travel back to the present, having left the alien device in a Egyptian pyramid to be recovered in the present. Back in their own time, Superman, Batman and Robin use it against the energy creature, destroying it and ending its threat forever.

Synopsis for Green Arrow: "The Menace of the Mole Men"

Green Arrow and Speedy are called in to investigate reports of mole creatures that are burrowing through streets and buildings all over Star City. At the police department Green Arrow is asked by several scientists not to bother the mole men as they might be alien creatures that don’t intend to harm anyone and it’s possible they could be new peace-loving neighbors. Green Arrow doesn’t think it’s a good idea to let them run freely through the city, but the police agree with the scientists as the creatures have shown no hostility, but at that moment a call comes through that the mole men have popped up at City Square.

The archers arrive to find the boring machine retreating back down the tunnel it had made, which Green Arrow notices was conveniently under a jewelry shop. Remembering that valuables are missing from each location the mole men have appeared Green Arrow becomes suspicious. He and Speedy follow the tunnel until they are attacked by the boring machine. The archer’s arrows bounce off doing no damage, so they use Paint Arrows to cover the windshield in red paint forcing the mole men to get out and confront them directly. The mole men are quickly subdued and they’re revealed as ordinary crooks using the whole mole man charade to pull off their heists.
