After saving a wealthy playboy from a fire on his yacht, Rip Carter and the Boy Commandos are invited to join the Legion of Death-Cheaters, a group of men who have all technically died and been brought back to life. Following an announcement by Legion member Primo that each man was destined to die in the manner he had previously escaped, the Commandos are called upon to solve a series of deaths that seem to point to just that being the case.
