Synopsis for "Petal to the Metal"
Snapper Carr is on the phone when he is interrupted by Young Justice and a situation outside of the team's headquarters. Secret explains to Snapper that the Super-Cycle is not letting anyone touch it since Robin left. And Slobo gladly accepted the challenge to tame the Super-Cycle. To everyones surprise Slobo succeeds and afterwards he transports Cissie back to her school while Wonder Girl accompanies them.
Before the trio reaches the school dorm they are intercepted by Red Tornado who is a little worried because he could neither reach his daughter Traya nor any department at the school. Outside of the school dorm everything is looking quiet so Cissie enters the building first. Inside no people are to be found, instead some kind of plant has spread through the hall and the rooms. Thankfully Cissie is able to find Traya alive within a supply room. Unfortunately the plant has grown a human body as well and it has the clear intention to kill Cissie whom it calls it's nurturer. While Red Tornado and Wonder Girl come to the rescue, Traya explains that the plant is probably the same Cassie brought as a present from New Genesis. In the end it is Slobo who solves the situation by opening a Boom Tube using the Super-Cycle. When the plant senses that the boom tube leads to its native home it leaves Earth without having hurt anyone.
