Z'onn Z'orr is the name of an ancient Martian stronghold erected in the wastelands of Antarctica many centuries ago. In recent years, the compound was used as the base of operations for a band of villainous White Martians known as the Hyperclan. After a fight involving the JLA, the Hyperclan were removed from the area, and League member J'onn J'onzz converted the site into his private fortress. Z'onn Z'orr was also briefly occupied by J'onn's brother, Malefic, who used it to imprison and subsequently torture the Saturnian known as Jemm.
