Synopsis for "Full Circle: Part 5"

As Nikki Foster falls off the edge of a cliff, she suddenly teleports into a dumpster full of giant candy kisses. Also in the dumpster is her mother, as she really looks. Her mother demands to know, honestly, how Nikki feels about being left alone as a little girl. Nikki reluctantly admits that she hates her mother, but feels that it's wrong. Her mother responds that right and wrong don't matter, and if Nikki needs to hate her mother, it's okay. As her mother disappears, Nikki suddenly returns to the cliff, and lands in a clump of bushes.
Amy Smootster and Nikki's father Tim rush to her side, and pull her out. As things wind down, Nikki wonders why they never held a funeral for her mother. Tim responds that he wasn't ready.
Following that conversation, it is decided that a funeral should be held for Charlotte Foster, and despite having asked for it, Nikki feels like it's a worthless ceremony. She felt closer to her mother in the dumpster than anywhere else. Sadly, she wanders away, and encounters Rat nearby. Rat asks to talk about their relationship, but Nikki brushes it off. She reveals her experience in the dumpster to her friend, and notes that she has lost her power to control things. Rat gives her a hug, but apologizes and leaves, saying she can't do this.
Later, Amy and Tim discuss their relationship and decide that it's time to take it to the next step. That evening, they have sex, which, admittedly, is only okay. Despite that, they admit that they really do have mature feelings of love for eachother, beyond the sexual, and beyond the initial infatuation that brought them together 18 years ago.
Nikki tries to give Rat a call, but she refuses to come to the phone. The next day, she sees Rat going into the bathroom at school, and follows her in. She thinks about the possibilities that their relationship might have. As she faces her fears and opens the stall door, she is horrified to discover Rat making out with a bully named Yolanda. Nikki is angered, but Rat is just as angry. She tells Nikki that she had tried to tell her about it at the funeral, and insists that she be called by her real name: Rochelle. Nikki begs her to try to see that their relationship could be better, but Rat has made her decision, and she says goodbye, walking home with Yolanda.
Sadly, Nikki wanders away, and comes across a sow bug. She begins talking to the bug about her problems, and asks the bug his name.
