Zot was a Lazer Monk, a race of people empowered by special crystals found underneath their world.

History

The same crystals empowered their enemies, the Nejire, which are in fact the same species as the monks, but both are corrupted by an alien monster. Zot, with the aid of Cave Carson and his allies, succeeded in killing the creature, which restored the Nejire and the Monks to their normal mental states, ending their futile war.
