Synopsis for "The Devil You Know"
In his quest to destroy the Lazarus Pits, Bane has come to Gotham City where (after a standoff with Alfred Pennyworth) he enlists the help of Batman. Nightwing, Batgirl, and Robin all oppose the idea, but Batman agrees to work with him.
Robin theorizes that he feels guilty about how he didn't trust them during the investigation into Vesper Fairchild's murder by trying to rehabilitate Bane, while Alfred receives a mysterious phone call from Leslie Thompkins.
Batman and Bane consult with Jason Blood, who directs them towards the last Lazarus Pit on Cyprus. They defeat its defenders and destroy the pit. On their journey back to Gotham, Bane shows Batman a photo of Thomas Wayne with his own mother and calls him "brother."
